Join our 9-Week Winter Run Club Training Program!

Get ready to stay motivated, consistent, and injury-free this winter with our Winter Run Club, running from Wednesday, December 3rd through Saturday, February 1st, 2025. This program is designed to build a supportive community of runners who encourage, push, and motivate each other to stay active through the winter months while training for the Maine Track Club Mid-Winter Classic 10-Miler on Sunday, February 1st, 2025.

What’s Included:

  • Structured weekly training runs led by experienced coaches.

  • Supportive community to keep you accountable and inspired.

  • Guidance on safe, sustainable, and enjoyable training for all levels.

Schedule & Locations:

  • Wednesdays at 5:30 PM at Finish Strong PT, 309 Marginal Way, Portland, ME 04101.

    • Note: Tuesday, Dec 23rd instead of Dec 24th; no meeting the week of Dec 31st.

Training Approach:
This program welcomes runners of all abilities. Train at a level that’s right for you—some weeks may be easier, some weeks you’ll push yourself. Our coaches are here to help you adjust your plan, stay safe, and enjoy the journey.

Safety & Weather:
We run rain, snow (yes, snow!), or shine! Dress appropriately for cold, dark, and slippery conditions—wear lights, reflective gear, and traction when needed. Always run facing traffic and let a coach know if you feel any unusual discomfort.

Whether you’re chasing a new personal best, tackling your first 10-miler, or simply looking for the motivation of a supportive team through the winter, this group is for you. Let’s make this winter a season of strong, consistent, and joyful running!
