Winter Run Club
The Winter Run Club is a 10-week training program designed to help runners stay consistent, build a strong aerobic base, and maintain momentum through the winter months. Beginning Wednesday, December 2, 2026, this group is ideal for athletes seeking structure, accountability, and community during a traditionally challenging training season, with a clear goal of preparing for the Mid-Winter Classic on Sunday, February 9, 2027.
This program combines structured weekly training, experienced coaching, and a supportive group environment to keep you moving forward all winter long. Participants should have prior experience completing a 5K (training included) or be comfortable running up to 5 miles before the start of the program. Training will emphasize steady mileage progression, pacing awareness, and developing resilience in winter conditions.
Weekly coached group runs will be held Wednesday evenings at 5:30 PM and will focus on aerobic development, efficiency, and confidence in varied weather. To support longer-distance development and race readiness, the program also includes two bonus weekend group runs scheduled throughout the training cycle.
Whether your goal is to stay consistent through the winter, build a strong foundation for spring racing, or line up at the Mid-Winter Classic feeling prepared and confident, the Winter Run Club offers the structure, support, and community to help you run strong all season long.
Train smart. Stay consistent. Run through winter—together.
