Join our Turkey Trot 5K Training Group, this fall program is perfect for athletes looking to build fitness, stay consistent, and arrive at the start line feeling prepared and supported.

Sponsored by Marathon Sports, this group combines structured weekly training, expert coaching, and a fun, motivating community environment. We’ll meet Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm for 8-weeks beginning September 30, 2026, where you will participate in a coached program designed to help runners of all levels train confidently for the Maine Track Club Turkey Trot 5K on Sunday, November 22, 2026.for guided group workouts focused on endurance, pacing, and efficiency, with two bonus weekend group runs included to build confidence and race readiness. All participants receive a complete training plan, in-session coaching cues, and personalized guidance to help you progress safely and effectively.

This is a two-tiered program that meets you where you are. First-time 5K runners will be guided step-by-step toward crossing the finish line with confidence, while experienced runners will focus on building speed, strength, and race-day execution. Whether your goal is to run your first race, set a new personal best, or simply stay accountable through the fall, this group offers the structure and support to help you succeed.
