About
This is for the swimmer who would like to take their strokes to the next level.
Through video analysis and a series of tests we are able to identify areas for performance enhancement, injury prevention or rehabilitation, and overall efficiency.
The process not only enhances a swimmer’s understanding of various strokes but also allows us to tailor advice and information to their specific needs. Whether it’s freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, or breaststroke, we analyze and correct all strokes, provide guidance on turns and starts.
A swim analysis can also be a great option for triathletes and runners looking to capitalize on the swim portion of their race or improve their overall fitness. Whether it is learning the best stroke balance for their plan, or assisting with a smoother transition a swim analysis provides a plan for the individual athlete. Swimming will not only give your legs a break from the high impact of running, but serves as an ideal form of active recovery, increasing endurance and oxygen capacity.
Technique analysis
Included in each assessment is a review of the four major swim strokes. As part of the assessment the Entry, Catch, Power, Recovery and Body position are all analyzed.
The swimmer receives an individualized report which includes items that are performed correctly, and items that need improvement, under those categories
A comprehensive swim video analysis provides a better understanding of your stroke technique. With video analysis, you can see your strokes and movements in real-time and understand where you need improvement.
