Beach to Beacon 10K Training Group
The Reach the Beacon Run Group is a 10-week training program designed for runners ready to step beyond the 5K distance and take on a new challenge. Beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2026, this group is ideal for athletes looking to build endurance, confidence, and strength while preparing for the iconic Beach to Beacon 10K (6.2 miles) on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
This program combines structured weekly training, expert coaching, and a supportive group environment to help runners progress safely and consistently. Participants should have prior experience completing a 5K (formal training encouraged) and can expect a gradual, thoughtful progression of mileage, with long runs building from approximately 3 to 6 miles over the course of the program.
Weekly coached group sessions will focus on aerobic development, pacing strategies, efficiency, and race-specific preparation. Runners will receive a complete training plan, in-session coaching cues, and individualized guidance to ensure they arrive at the start line feeling prepared and confident.
