Half/Full Marathon Run Group

 

Join our 8-week Maine Half and Full Marathon Training Group, running from August 9 to September 27, 2025, and designed to support runners of all levels as they prepare for the Maine Marathon on October 5, 2025. Sponsored by Marathon Sports, this program includes structured weekly training runs, expert coaching, and a supportive community to keep you motivated and on track. With Saturday long runs (6:30 AM for Full Marathoners, 7:30 AM for Half Marathoners) and bi-weekly Wednesday evening sessions at 5:30 PM, you'll receive personalized guidance, a full training plan, and the camaraderie needed to train smart and finish strong. Whether you’re racing the half or full distance, this program is your path to a confident and successful race day.

All participants should be actively running prior to registering. Half Marathoner’s should have the current fitness to be able to complete a comfortable 6-8 mile run and Full Marathoner’s, a 12-14 mile run. *If you are coming off our Reach the Beacon Program, you are ready! If you are unsure, please ask.
