Bike Fit Assessment

Bike Fit

About

what is a bike fit assessment?

During the assessment, a comprehensive riding history and movement analysis is conducted by our F.I.S.T certified physical therapist, Sam Lariviere, PT, DPT. This process that optimizes a rider’s position to improve their comfort, performance, and reduce the risk of injury.

A F.I.S.T. certified bike fitter can adjust the following to achieve this:

  • Saddle: Height, tilt, and fore and aft position

  • Pedals: Type, cleat type, and position

  • Handlebar: Height, width, and shape

  • Stem length: Length of the stem

  • Grip position: Position of the grip

This goes above and beyond set points to prescribe the ideal bike for a new purchase or retrofit an existing bike. Fitting through this lens gives us the ability to eliminate any pain, optimize performance, and get you doing what you love more!
