Megan Fecteau
Physical Therapy Student – Ran at the University of New England
Megan ran cross country and track at the University of New England, graduating in 2022 with her degree in exercise science.
She came into college as a sprinter and found a love for distance running after her first year, joining the cross country team and eventually specializing in the 3k steeplechase for track - earning all-conference in the event her senior year.
She currently still attends UNE as a student in the doctor of physical therapy program. She is passionate about helping younger runners develop their ability and love for the sport by getting stronger and having fun.
Colin Jones
Coach at Scarborough HS – Ran at the University of Southern Maine
Colin grew up in Scarborough, Maine where he developed a passion for middle distance running. After high school he attended the University of Southern Maine, where he was a member of the cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. He earned the William B Wise Scholar Athlete award for all four years . Since graduating college in 2019, he has served as the distance running coach at Scarborough High School during the indoor and outdoor track seasons. He brings his passion for running to connect with athletes in the area who are looking to build stronger habits as they prepare for future competitive running seasons.
When not running on the roads, you can find him running his own business. He enjoys traveling, partaking in southern Maine’s incredible food scene, and spending time in Bridgton, Maine on the lake!
Amanda Nobbe
Amanda began running a few years ago and continues to set new running goals for herself. She hopes to run her first ultra-marathon this year. She loves running Portland's many trails and paths. You can find her at Fleet Feet throughout the week helping customers pick out the perfect pair of running shoes.
When not running she is usually in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine. She is also a huge fan of pro-cycling. Amanda loves helping people discover (or re-discover!) running.
Tayor Bickford
Assistant Coach at Cheverus HS - Ran at Wellesley College
Taylor is a project manager at New Balance and an assistant cross country coach for Cheverus High School.
While she ran in college at Wellesley College, she found her real passion in marathon training when she ran the London Marathon as her debut marathon in 2:42. She currently runs for Dirigo and loves to race all distance from the 5k to the marathon.
Since she has personally dealt with a lot of injuries as she learned what kind of runner she was and how my body reacts to training, she is extremely passionate about helping younger runners discover their personal full-picture relationship to running, including everything from nutrition, mentality, injury prevention, and of course training.
